OUR PROJECTS

Each of our participants have the opportunity to assist with showing our support to our local community by volunteering their time and efforts. Volunteering gives us a sense of purpose and being able to have the power to improve the lives of others, it is a great way to reinforce our own personal values and feel like we're living in a way that is true.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, strengthens your ties to the community and exposing you to people with common interests, neighborhood resources, and fun and fulfilling activities.

This Second Chance Resource Fair is on June 25 of this year and it will be a great opportunity for individuals in our community to get connected with several resources. Come join us for some food, fun, and community!

Northeast Rural Philanthropy Days will give you the opportunity to network with non-profit organizations, funders, and be involved in our rural communities.

June 26, 2026 Second Chance Resource Fair

Hope House, Colorado Department of Corrections, and Cooperative Ministries WAGEES Program all got the opportunity to plan this even together to bring resources and information to our community. Several organizations locally and from Denver areas showed up and provided information about their organization to community members. We also had Amazon Volunteers that were so kind and cooked food for everyone to have lunch! This was a great day of collaboration.
